Little Red Bean Productions was brought on by Silverstein Properties, developers of the WTC, to produce two back-to-back events in the same space.
Little Red Bean Productions proposed the cost-effective idea of utilizing many of the same design components for both events. We decided to go with a furniture design that incorporated a lot of neutral wood elements and some fun pops of bold colors that would work for both events. In between events, we changed the lighting gel colors, modified the furniture configurations, and switched out the florals and décor accents/props in order to give the appearance of two completely different events – and it worked! It was an extremely successful idea that also resulted in the client saving over $50,000!
The first event was WTC’s Summer BBQ, an event that brought together the best names in BBQ and local craft beer for an exclusive, invite-only BBQ-themed tasting event. Little Red Bean Productions curated an outstanding list of participants including: Dinosaur BBQ; Mables Smokehouse; John Brown Smokehouse; Blue Smoke; The Palm; Route 66 Smokehouse; Shake Shake; City Winery; LIC Beer Project; Finback Brewing; & Gunhill Brewing.
The second event, Down is What’s up, co-hosted by the Downtown Alliance, announced the launch of the organization’s LMHQ Headquarters. Attendees, comprised of C-level executives across tech, media & marketing sectors, enjoyed a tasting menu of downtown Manhattan establishment’s, including: Le District; Da Claudio; Dead Rabbit; Capital Grille; Delmonico’s; Blue Ribbon, and Financier Patisserie.
